Born in : 1728 / Dead in : 1808Jean-Baptiste Pillement is remembered for his atmospheric landscapes. His work is reminiscent of Boucher's landscapes. Pillement also created engravings of his drawings that were popular throughout Europe. He was also an avid traveler, making trips to Austria, England, Poland, Portugal, and Spain.
