 | Description | |
This small pedestal probably held a gold image of the king. The rounded back is inscribed with Akhenaten's nomen and prenomen surmounted by Aten, its rays ending in small hands. On the sides, three foreigners - a Lybian, an Asiatic and a Nubbian on one side, in the reverse order in the other - kneel before offering tables and raise their arms in obeisance.
