 | Description | |
This yacht is just leaving her moorings. On deck lie the mooring pegs and the mallet for driving them into the bank, the gangplank, and the mast nest. A sailor poles the bow away from the bank. The rest of the crew haul up the sail to travel south with the prevaling north wind and set the backstays. Makutra and his son sit under the awning while three priests or offering bearers offer incense, meat, and a text which reads "a thousand of bread and beer, a thousand of beef and fowl". The sail itself was lost before the model was put in the tomb. The lashings of the rudder have been restored.
