Description

The lentoid, or lentil-shaped beads of faience and Egyptian blue (man-made ceramic materials) have been strung by type, sice their original arrangement is uncertain. Short strands of lentoid beads were often placed around the necks of mummies. The large bangles were probably worn on the upper arm.
