Description   

The royal donors in prayer - exhibited in this showcase - may have belonged to an altar or tomb. Based on comparisons with contemporary portraits, these statuettes may portray Philip VI de Valois, his second wife Blanche de Navarre (d'Evreux), and one of their sons, John the Good or Philip of France.
