 | Description | |
Chalice with a long-haired Saint John the Baptist, the Virgin Mary in orant pose, a military saint, a youthful Christ with cruciform halo, and another military saint in armor killing the dragon (Saint Georges ?), under arcades. The generous size of this chalice is evidence of the large number of Christians residing around Attarouthi prior to the rise of Islam.
