Description

Conical vessels decorated with applied blue blobs are known from sites throughout the empire. Their function is still dispute. Some served as drinking bowl or beakers, others were used as lamps. The shape of this vessel, said from Sidon (Lebanon), is certainly more appropriate for the latter use.
