Description   

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." (Acts III:1-10):

The picture was painted in 1655 for a Monseur Mercier of Lyons. The composition recalls Raphael, and the gestures of the central group are reminiscent of Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" in the Sistine Chapel.
