 | Description | |
The area to the west of Klingelhoeferstraße up to Lichtensteinallee, where the Spanish Embassy stood after 1943, also forms part of the historical diplomatic quarter. 41 years later, however, only a small part of the embassy at the southern end of the building has been used as a consulate general. The other rooms have been empty. The building was erected in 1938 to plans by the brothers, Walter and Johannes Krueger, and suffered heavy bomb damage in 1944.
Now the building houses the Spanish Embassy and the ambassador's residence.
