The architecture of the church is inspired by the Nieuwe Kerk Im Haag of Pieter Post (1649/56) and the Church Santa Maria della Consolazione in Todi (ab 1508). The Parochialkirche is a church that nowdays belongs to the Evangelical-Lutheran Church. The church is the oldest reformed church in Berlin.
