 | Description | |
The plaza of the J. C. Penney Building and soon to be rechristened the Credit Lyonnais Building, then Caylon Building, has been traded for three colossal bronze sculptures by Jim Dine that evoke the Venus de Milo. That has helped make the tower, between 52d and 53d Streets, a prominent presence on the avenue.
