Building where Taiyu-in, or the deified image of Tokugawa lemitsu, is enshrined
Description
The Ainoma is located in between Honden main hall and Haiden oratory. This special room was made for the Shogun. It is imaginable that successive Tokugawa Shogun was looking at the rite there. The successive Shogun visited Taiyuin Mausoleum on the Memorial Day of Iemitsu's death.

You will find the Honden soon after you step inside. The brightness of the Honden will impress you, but there are many worth seeing sights. Please do not just walk through, but look at everything slowly and carefully.

Phoenix is painted on the latticed ceiling. The phoenix is treated as a lucky spiritual bird. Also, two flying dragons are painted on the border of the Honden. One dragon is going up to the sky, and another is coming down to the ground.

Remarkably, Sangusoku (Three goods) is put in the Ainoma. The Sangusoku includes incense burner, and these goods were dedicated by Toshitsune Maeda, who governed Kaga (Former Ishikawa prefecture).
