The "Lenné Dreeick" was named in honour of Peter Joseph Lenné, the designer of Tiergarten, the city's central park. Located directly at the north side of Potsdamer Platz, it lay as fallow wasteland until the fall of the Wall, for though it was not actually surrounded by the Wall the triangular area between Ebertstrasse, Bellevuestrasse and Lennéstrasse officially belonged to East Berlin.

Description
The multi-storeyed high-rise of the Berlin private bank Delbrueck has since been raised here, its graduation in height creating the transition from the Ebertstrasse to the other towering buildings. Covering 16,500 square metres, the complex contains hotels, residential and business spaces as well as the Beisheim Centre, the last large-scale project completed at Potsdamer Platz.
