Aoi Matsuri Hollyhock Festival Kamigamo-Jinja (Shrines) and Shimogamo-Jinja (Shrines) have a parade procession of colorful costumes of the Heian Period in which more than 600 people participate. This "Aoi Matsuri" is one of the three largest festivals in Kyoto.
